The Kennels of Stone Creek is located on ten acres in Hambden Township, a friendly and secure rural environment, near Chardon, Ohio. This dog boarding facility is convenient to Cleveland and all of Northeast Ohio. Stone Creek has been boarding dogs since 1989 and remodeled their facilities in 2003 offering state-of-the-art kennels.

The Kennels of Stone Creek is a member of the American Boarding Kennels Association. They offer personalized attention, pick-up service and discounts for stays longer than 30 days and for Stone Creek Labrador-bred puppies.

The kennel amenities include:

  • 26 - 4 x 17 ft. indoor / outdoor concrete runs
  • Mason® fence with 48” Privacy panels and sani-channels
  • Heated and Air Conditioned with Electronic Air Cleaner & Ultraviolet air purification
  • Full kitchen for feed preparation
  • Office & reception area
  • 24 hr. monitored security system with smoke and fire detection
  • 6’ high Perimeter fence with exercise area
  • A clean and safe environment
  • $17.00 per day per dog (any size)

 

The original kennel has been recently enlarged to house 26 runs and office/work space.

Monday - Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Saturday: Mornings (8:00 - 11:00am).

Sunday: Afternoons (2:00- 4:00pm) for pickup and dropoff only

Boarding Checklist - Kennels of Stone Creek

Just as you prepare for travel and hotel stays, your dog's needs must be addressed as well. Here is a quick checklist to help you remember everything you need to make your dog's experience safe and enjoyable.

  • Vaccinations must be given 10 days prior to boarding
  • Veterinarian Proof of Vaccinations is required:
    • Bordetella (Kennel Cough) - Boosters given yearly
    • Distempter, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenze, Parvovirus - Boosters given yearly
    • Rabies - Boosters given every 3 years
  • Bring along any medications and instructions for their use
  • A bed or rug to sleep on - see FAQ's
  • A toy or bones (limit of 2) - see FAQ's
  • Stone Creek is proud to feed Purina Pro Plan. This is a premium food with a chicken base, 26% protein, 16% fat. We would be happy to feed your dog Pro Plan. If your dog requires something else, you are welcome to provide it. Please bring the smallest possible container clearly marked with your dog's name and feeding instructions.
